Location: Stonbridge Country Club, Goffstown, NH
Time: 8:15 AM

The 2013 tournament will be held at Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown, NH! Stonebridge offers a fun and challenging game of golf for players of all levels: with championship length course at 6808 yards from the championship tees to slopes rating from 134 from the Men’s tees and 116 from the Ladies'. Stonebridge has been ranked as #8 and has received a four star rating by Golf Digest, as well as been rated #37 in the top 100 courses to play in New England by the New England Journal of Golf. We hope you will be able to join us for a great day of golf. Oh, and don't forget the great variety of raffle prizes! See you there, the NHHCA 21st Annual Golf Tournament at Stonebridge Country Club!

The day will begin with registration where you will receive goodies from the NHHCA and from the sponsors of this year’s Golf Tournament. Then you are welcome to enjoy a continental breakfast while you mingle with the other golfers. From there the games will begin at exactly 9:00am. Lunch will be under the tent where awards and raffle prizes will be given out. We hope you enjoy the beautiful course and have a wonderful day!

Are you interested in becoming an effective leader and offering better quality care? The NHHCA Nurse Leadership Series is a five part training series open to all of those in long-term care: nursing facilities, assisted living facilities and residential care facilities. The series is geared towards Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, Senior Nurse Leaders and future Nurse Leaders. Participants who attend and complete four out of the five sessions will receive a NHHCA Nurse Leader Certification and be recognized at the NHHCA Annual Meeting held in November, 2013.

Session I: Nursing Leadership and Delegation

  • Describe the role of the New Hampshire Board of Nursing in defining the legal parameters for nursing practice, which includes delegation. (RSA 326-B; Nur 100-800)

  • Define the term delegation and describe the delegation process including the “Five Rights of Delegation”

  • Discuss the responsibility of the nurse for supervision of delegated tasks

  • Explore the relationship between communication and the delegation process

  • Demonstrate the application of these principals utilizing various case scenarios

Seniors Aid New Hampshire (SANH) is a group of residents who live in New Hampshire nursing homes, assisted living and independent living communities. Their goal is to collaborate on efforts aimed at benefiting those in need in New Hampshire. They also work with key state leaders and policy makers on policy issues that affect long-term care and independent living residents.

Meeting: Meetings will start with a lunch at 11:30am. The meeting will begin at 12:00 noon and will last for two hours.
