- Alternative Long Term Care Options

Is a Nursing Home the Right Choice for Me?

Nursing homes provide for varying degrees of nursing care in a residential setting that promotes rehabilitation and enhanced support in activities of daily living. Nursing Care is provided 24 hours per day. This is the most intensive and dependent level of nursing service provided outside of a hospital.

Admissions can be temporary for those who require short-term rehabilitation or a brief recuperative period after an extended hospitalization. The structure and support provided with 24-hour nursing services enable individuals to maximize their level of independence and afford them opportunity to return home.

Many residents admitted to our facilities make it their permanent residence. They are admitted from hospitals of from their homes, when living independently at home is no longer feasible. These individuals maximize their functional capabilities and strengths, while the staff assists them coping with losses that are part of the aging process.
