Online Care Assessment for Residential Services (CARES) Training 3rd Tuesday @ 9:00a.
NH Assisted Living Facilities, including Residential Care Facilities (He-P 804) and Supported Residential Care Facilities (He-P 805) must assess all potential residents using the Care Assessment for Residential Services prior to admission to their facility. Known as a CARES Tool, this assessment is required to be done no more than 30 days prior to admission to the facility and every six months thereafter OR when the resident experiences a significant change.
All individuals using the CARES Tool must attend a training session hosted by the NHHCA or NH ARCH (Association of Residential Care Homes).
NHHCA Hosts in 2026: February 17 * March 17 * May 19 * July 21 * October 20 * December 15
All other months hosted by NH ARCH.
